Grey at Christmas sounds unlikely until you see it on the tree.

These six baubles alternate lush velvet stripes against sleek grey glass, finished with a fine silver trim. The velvet absorbs light softly while the glass reflects it sharply, and the two textures together give a tree a depth that flat colour simply cannot. Run a finger across one and you feel the difference immediately, which is rare in a Christmas decoration.

At 8cm each they space easily through branches and sit comfortably in neutral palettes, Scandi styling, or any scheme moving away from traditional red.

Six arrive in a gift box, ready for the tree, a garland, or mixed through decorations you already own.

For anyone slowly building a tree that looks like their home rather than a shop window, this is the set that starts it.
